ASTRO’s Rocky Leaves the Group After Ending Contract

Rocky, member of the K-pop group ASTRO, revealed he is quitting the group after seven years.

He is also ending his exclusive partnership with the agency Fantagio.

Soompi claims that after a "deep discussion" with the agency, he made the decision.

This occurs two months after the contract of four of his teammates were extended.

Sanha, Moonbin, Cha Eun Woo, and JinJin, were all extended.

The third member, MJ, who is presently completing his required military duty, did not renew his contract.

In order to complete their military duties, a number of other K-Pop heavyweights are also taking a break from making music.

BTS members Jin and J-Hope have already started enrolling.

Rocky hasn't made any announcements about his singing career in the future.

He has previously appeared in a number of K-Dramas, so he might resume acting.
