Princeton stuns Arizona for huge March Madness upset
In a stunning upset, the Princeton Tigers defeated the Arizona Wildcats in the first round of March Madness.
The game, played in San Diego, was a nail-biter from start to finish.
Princeton, a 12th seed, came out strong and held the lead for much of the game.
Arizona, a 5th seed and a favorite to make a deep tournament run, struggled to find their rhythm.
But the Wildcats clawed their way back in the second half, tying the game with just minutes to go.
In the end, it was Princeton's defense that secured the victory, forcing Arizona into a tough shot that missed the mark.
The Tigers celebrated their historic win, while the Wildcats were left to wonder what went wrong.
Princeton will now advance to the second round, where they'll face off against the winner of the Notre Dame-Northwestern matchup.
For Arizona, it's a disappointing end to a season that held so much promise. They'll head back to Tucson with plenty of questions to answer.
